Garden-Museum Volunteers Needed
The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden Society of Vancouver (http://vancouverchinesegarden.com/) is a non-profit organization that connects cultures and communities. As a cultural hub, the garden-museum is passionate about connecting people through educational tours, exhibitions, community outreach, and festival celebration events. It is located at 578 Carrall Street, the heart of downtown east Vancouver.
Volunteering at the garden-museum comes with many perks which include

The garden-museum is seeking volunteers fluent in English for the Docent and Cultural Interpreters positions. Docent and Cultural Interpreters convey information to visitors through interpretive tours, and informal question periods. Scheduling is flexible and based on volunteer availability. Training includes reading tour content, shadowing tours, and working with staff/mentors (approx. 20 hours in the span of 2 months).
