Dr.Steve Morgan from UBC's School of Population and Public Health spoke at our last workshop and suggested that the implementation of universal Pharmacare would enable more Canadians to be covered for drugs necessary for health care. With an accessible, appropriate and affordable Pharmacare, using a national formulary, there would be value for money by having price negotiation using bulk buying. This will improve the health of Canadians and save health care dollars. Urge your politicians to make Pharmacare an issue for the coming federal election.
